Mark Palma – Landscaper

As a child, I loved being in the outdoors and I was lucky enough to have a bushland park at the end of my street. I spent many hours exploring and playing in that reserve and I think it cultivated my love of plants and the outdoors.

I started my formal training as an apprentice at Ripponlea National Trust Property, also spending some time at the Royal Botanical Gardens. From there I moved to developing my skills in the local government managing large-scale revegetation programs, creek restoration and managing remnant vegetation. During this time I developed a love for Melbourne’s Indigenous flora and moved to running my own business, having qualifications in landscape design and many years experience in construction.
